What is the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme?

The voucher scheme is a government-funded initiative to help separating families resolve disputes without going to court. It covers up to £500 towards the cost of joint mediation sessions (after your MIAM).

It’s designed to support families in reaching agreements about:

Child arrangements (where children live, time spent with each parent)
Communication between parents
Wider parenting decisions

Am I Eligible for the Voucher?

You may be eligible if:

You are separating or have separated from your partner
You have a child together (including adopted or stepchildren)
Your dispute relates to parenting, communication or children’s needs
You have attended a MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting) with a registered mediator

How the Process Works

Book your MIAM (initial meeting) - £110
We discuss whether mediation is suitable and if the voucher applies
If eligible, I will apply for the £500 voucher on your behalf
You can then begin joint mediation sessions, with the voucher covering part or all of the costs
